Stopped in and got the relleno and taco plate for a quick lunch yesterday. Substituted the fish taco for the standard ground beef. The taco pescado was done a al plancha (grilled) and very tasty, as was the relleno tho would have preferred a little more cheese and less batter. Beans, rice and salsa fresca were all well done and tasty with warm seasoned tortilla chips.
Quizzed the waitress about the day's special, Chicken Mole, learned that it is the black version, and spicy not on the sweet side. A couple of locals said one of their favorites is the chile verde burrito which sounded similar to a Sal's Fancy, i.e. covered with cheese and a ranchera sauce. Sounded like the chile verde plate might be a winner also. The locals also mentioned good breakfasts including of course huevos rancheros and they are open at 7am with breakfast available all day.
Looking forward to exporing more of this place.
