I have been perusing the board for a few months to plan our vacation for this summer. We are foodies, but want to consider the parents. My husband and I and his mom and step-dad will arrive in New Orleans in June on a Saturday afternoon. We have been to New Orleans several times in the past 10 years and they have never been. The step-dad loves duck and we want to make sure he has this a few times while in New Orleans. We will be staying in the Central Business District.
We always like to try a few new restaurants with a few that are tried and true for us.
Previously, we have been to Tommy's, Emeril's, Nola's, Herbsaint, Cochon, Cochon Butcher, Joey-K's, Napoleon House, Cafe Du Monde, Irene's, Mr B's, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, Johnny's, Central Grocer, Red Fish Grill, Gumbo Shop, Mother's, Stanley's, Felix, Acme, and probably a few I am forgetting.
We will be making several trips to Cafe Du Monde for my fix of beignet and cafe au lait during the vacation.
