"Utica" greens

We in Syracuse have been ordering more and more of various versions of "Utica" greens at a number of local Italian restaurants and no doubt a lot of home cooks, including myself, have tried to duplicate/ improve them for private consumption.Apparently,they originated in Utica restaurants a few years back. Does anyone have any experience/ expertise on these greens and where to locate the best plates in the area? (A large plate of escarole/other greens with ?? bread crumbs, grated parmigiano/pecorino,hot peppers,prosciutto,garlic,butter ?? )
