I'm thinking about having lunch or dinner at USC later this month. It seems pretty easy to get reservations via Open Table (they're completely open for the dates/times I was looking at).
Has anyone been there, and would it be worth it to give it a try? Is it necessary to make reservations, or are drop-ins accepted on weekends?
I'm only curious about the place because the NYC original gets such wonderful press, and I'm more likely to get to Tokyo far earlier New York (plus the NYC branch is very difficult to get a seat at, from what I've heard).
