Last week I posted some critical comments on the Union Square Cafe. I recently received the following e-mail from Christopher Russell the wine and service director there:
"Thanks for you honest feedback on Chowhound. You, and others who speak up,
make us a better restaurant.
I hope you'll feel free enough to speak up next time your in so that you
don't leave disappointed."
Just wanted to note that to their credit my comments in this forum were noted and adressed by management at an upper echelon restaurant.
The lesson learned but often forgotten because some of us can be intimidated in the restaurant setting is to speak up if not satisfied. They can't help if they don't know.
