Hi, everyone. I'm taking a quick trip to Healdsburg and Tomales Bay in a few weeks. I've been pouring through the discussions here for a few days and have a game plan, but I have a few questions that I'm not having any luck with since I'm not very familiar with the area.
1. We'll be leaving SF for Healdsburg around 9/10a on Thurs. Are there any quick stops for breakfast or any interesting vendors or markets on the way that we should check out?
2. Having dinner at Cyrus, so we're not planning to eat a sit-down lunch and will just find some stuff to munch on while we go wine tasting. Same question as above, anything downtown that we shouldn't miss?
3. Friday, we might go to Bovolo for breakfast before heading to Hog Island. We think we'll probably feel like leaving HI around 2-3 and aren't sure what to do next before we head back to the city. What I'd like to do is find something to entertain us for a few hours and then find a good place to eat a light dinner. I thought about Osteria Stelina but my friend seems to think we won't be able to find anything to do in Point Reyes until dinner, so then I was thinking about Poggia in Sausalito. Any other ideas, both for things to do and dinner? Any type of food at any price point is fine.
Also, any info re: restaurants or shops that have foie gras is particularly welcome.
Thanks for your help! Links to prior discussions that I missed are welcome!
