7)johns roast pork-went there the day after the inquirer review came out and waited an hour and 10 minutes for cheesteak(also tried roast pork and sharp provolone sandwich)Cheesteak and roll much better than pats, genos, jims, but i think their roast pork was even better.Hope the line has subsided! It was hot out there!8)mamma palma's pizzeria-good pizza.I would order the foccacio bread to start as an appetizer.Staff was friendly9)persian grill-one of my favorites on laffayette pike.I order the e-5 on the menu, the lamb chunks and pressed veal combo with persian rice.My friends whine that 10 years later the dinners have risen from $11 to $16,but they are tight!10)pasion-just had the 3 ceviche sampler ,but it was outstanding.I chose the salmon which had a kick to it(i love hot),black cod,and scallops.Would go back again for the ceviche, but truthfully i didnt see anything coming out of kitchen(sat at kitchen bar)that i was impressed with in the way of meat dishes. 11)new corned beef academy-loved the corned beef on rye.Reminded me of my old ben and irv days when they were located on ogontz ave12)joy tsin lau-had a great time ordering dim sum.3 of us had 10 courses,2 beers,5 sodas for $50 plus tip.i loved the lightly fried shrimp and clams in black bean sauce the most.13)white house sub shop in a.c.-thought their italian hoagie was better than their cheesteak.loved the kitsch hanging from walls.14)tomatoes in margate.Good food-his version of a crispy duck was the most moist i have had duck, though i prefer chinese style.out of space!
