Went for the first time last night and have to thank all of the Hounds who have recommended this gem.
I ordered the field greens salad and could easily have served the whole table (I couldn't finish it!). The greens were fresh and not drowning in salad dressing (a huge pet peeve). My main course was butternut squash ravolis in sage butter - wish I had more of those! Perfectly executed. Just the right balance between sage and butternut squash.
Hubby had clams for an appetizer which he said were great (don't like clams personally) and scallops over fettucini with garlic cream sauce. The smells alone were heavenly.
Our friends had lobster ravoli - plenty of lobster, plus shrimp and scallops and veal parm that looked amazing. Our friend said the parm was some of the best he has had any where.
We all split the mussels for an appetizer and requested extra bread to soak up the liquors - ymmmm.
My only disappointed (and it is a small one) where the wine choices by the glass. I was not impressed, but maybe the wine by the bottle would have been better. Our table last night was mixed drinkers, so a bottle didn't work. Will have to try the next time, because we will be back!
