Take out that travels well?

We ski in Penn every weekend and stay up in Gettysburg, town of less than mediocre restaurants for the most part. My husband has been coming up and trying to bring dinner from the NoVa area but it can be hours before we eat. Banh mi work well, roasted duck/char su/etc from Great Wall and then we supplement up there w/ hot foods. But, I'd love other options. We have access to a microwave but can't do too much ore too big of a dish. Where would you go (from beltway up 270) to get take out dinner that can sit for a few hours? Pasties might work from Vienna. Things along those lines.
