made the transition from brunch 2 dinner kitchenette

Im a creature of habit. Ive been living up in thr columbia area for years and welcomed kitchenette because i had an addiction to their Lumber jack breakfast from work days at @ 7wtc.. I found it here too,,..(does anybody else in the city use real maple syrup?)

My dinners always consisted of pasta and wine at Max --simple, straight forward. But nobody else was open on on New Years day--so I had dinner...This northern boy just had an eye opener to the best spicy catfish sandwich ever!! They make their own tarter and I chose macn cheese and wilted greens as my sides( yes ive started the diet since) My girlffiend had a cobb salad w/ a bacon buttermilk dressing that looked pretty good ( she wouldnt share LOL )It amazes me that i have such blinders on when it comes to eating.I feel a sense of loyalty to what i name my breakfast place, my taco place, sushi etc...but being forced to try something new was quite a revelation..ANd if they have chocolate trifle the night that you are there- either skip the app or be prepared to share it. Now i actually have a choice of 2 places on my block
