This restaurant is the little engine that could of Arthur Avenue (although it's on 187th st.). As good if not better, in my opinion, then Roberto's (which is a great place too) the food is always fresh (be prepared for them to run out of the specials on the blackboard) cause the chef shops the neighborhood every day for his menu. He only buys so much so at busy times things can run out. Marco has a masterful light touch (believe me when you rave about the salads something is going on). The blackboard specials are always special but the small printed menu is great too. I've probably taken 15 people or so there over the last two years and so far they've all been home runs.
The reason I say they're like the little engine that could is cause they are the best restaurant in the area, and one of the best in the city but they don't get the respect and the reviews.
Have been there at least 25 times in the last two years and not had a bad course let alone bad meal. Prices are reasonable for a restaurant of this calibre (by the way it's Michelin rated which is rare). I almost hate to share it but if your reading this board you deserve it. And best of all (well after the amazing food) is unlike Roberto's they take reservations.
