A tourist's brief reviews

We enjoyed the Trattoria Trecolori (on 46th st) and Grimaldi's, thanks for the suggestions.

We also very much liked Bistro les Amis on Spring at Thompson. Had a wonderful meal begining with crusty bread and calamata olives, a terrific gaspacho, nice seafood, and a light and tasty cheesecake for dessert. All for $21.95 prix fixe before 7PM. Excellent service and sidewalk tables on a beautiful afternoon enhanced the experience.

And, our favorite: Sea on 6th in Williamsburg. Some of the prettiest and tastiest Thai we have ever enjoyed. Very trendy and noisy and modern. Cheap! Dinner for 6 people came to $70, exclusive of drinks, including tip. And we had to take home the leftovers. I liked the green wontons stuffed with shrimp, veggie spring rolls, and drunkman noodles.
