Fully mature, even for English tastes, with traces of garnet and brick red. A wine I would wish to pour for passers by to spread the joy and thus bring on world amity. Especially, no old wine component, just a wondrous developed nose and gentle palate, with berries and vanilla, acid, etc. now one liquid. Age showed in a shortening of the finish. The Mondavi showed so well it either transcends terrior (it seemed to come from the sky, or a well I'd like to find) or defines it.
