I got a bag of ~5 Meyer lemons and a bag of fresh cranberries in the hopes of making a cordial. Does anyone have experience making limoncello blends? I was thinking I would zest the lemons with my microplane to avoid too much pith, then infuse either Everclear or a high-proof vodka with the zest and cranberries, strain, and add simple syrup to taste. Any educated guesses as to how much liquor to infuse and for how long? How much simple syrup (1:1 water:sugar ratio?) to add?
