Greeted by Mina as I walked in the door to an empty restaurant at 130 pm on Veteran's Day. She was delightful and I felt like I was entering her home / home kitchen. She was very attentive to how I wanted my dal fry and asked me how the food was as I was eating it. All in all a delightful experience.
Now, I know nothing about restaurant econmics however, it was clear to me that the list prices on the menu will not be supported by the neighborhood it is in. I agree with those that posted before me that the prices are too high relative to those living in the area and with the heart of indian restaurants a short walk away in Jackson Heights, most offering buffets at lower prices, I too wonder if this delightful restaurant will survive.
I'll be eating there as long as it is there.
