If anyone is looking for a new place to try for brunch and doesn't mind traveling a little bit out east then I would recommend Three's Company at the corner of Lamb and Danforth.
I tried it out on Sunday for the first time and I was very impressed. The place has a "cottagy" feel to it with mismatched furniture and a delicious, home cooked smell. I went at 11 a.m. and there was absolutely no wait unlike many of the other brunch places that I frequent.
The menu had a good mix of egg dishes and other typical brunch items with a twist. There were a few specials.. including a chocolate mousse french toast which I passed up to have a quiche with caramalized onions and bacon. The quiche came with a side salad which I split into half salad and half homefries. Although my dish wasn't huge it was quite delicious... the homefries were a combination of sweet potato and regular white potato and the quiche was well balanced in flavour.
The owner said that next week the french toast special will be with pumpkin and... hmm. I forget but it sounded great!
