most places in la slice gyro meat really thinnly - almost like thin sliced deli meat (though in strips). i've had it around the country and in europe where the gyro slices are cut much thicker (maybe about 1/8 to 1/4 inch). it is juicy and crispy with the thicker cut. any ideas around la to get a thicker cut? can you ask for this?
anywhere in la county works (though preferrably from the beach to downtown).
