Thelma's barbeque in Houston

I thought I posted this yesterday? Here it goes again.

I went yesterday for the first time since they became so popular. Me and my dinning companion ordered a catfish plate (4 nice size filets) with 2 sides and a pound of briskett. The total was $14. After all the hype surrounding this place I have to say that the que is better than it was 6-7 months ago and the catfish is still as good as it was as well. Don't miss the okra side dish, it is the best side I can remember having at a que place. It is almost like a gumbo. Speaking of gumbo...I noticed a sign that said "Open Sundays" and under that it said serving GUMBO and OXTAILS on monday and wednesday! I can't wait to give it a try!
