Need a Thanksgiving Dinner spot - for celiac & meat lovers - Fancy is good!

Hi!

Last year my family went to Hudson's on the Bend and while I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and the ambiance, my mother, who has Celiac's Disease, was less than impressed with her options. It didn't help that she's not a big game lover, either.

We'd like to go out to dinner again, but I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas that will make my mom happy and that's not just your run of the mill steakhouse downtown.

I'm hoping to learn of some little gem in the hill country or a new downtown spot that is an event in itself (I liked that we had to drive almost an hour to Hudson's - made it a little more special than just a 10 minute drive downtown, but I'm not above a short trek, either, if it's cool enough).

I was thinking the Four Seasons or maybe even Aquarelle. III Forks perhaps? I have no clue... Is there a rooftop restaurant downtown now? There seems to be so many more skyscrapers these days.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
Jessica
