Thanksgiving Day dim sum

Gordon Wing | Nov 25, 2005 12:52 AM

this morning we met some out of town friends at Hong Kong East Ocean in Emeryville for dim sum. arrived at 10:30 and walked right in - no wait.
over all we had a very good meal - although we were busy talking and catching up and didn't always pay a lot of attention to the steady stream of food. a few highlights: the rice noodles rolls stuffed with shrimp were exemplary, the egg custard tarts were excellent (rivalling GGBakery if they were warmer), also really liked the beef balls. Siu mai and the chive & shrimp dumplings were better than average - would have them again.
That's it for now.....
