thanksgiving at cornelia street: should we???

has anyone been to the thanksgiving day meal at the cornelia street cafe in years past? i'm considering it for our family's gathering this year. i've never eaten upstairs though i've been downstairs and like the vibe overall. the dinner is $40 and the menu seems nice -- especially since a surplus of vegetarian options is important for this group.

the restaurant's homey-ish but the menu seems a little on the fancy side. how well do they usually pull off stuff like risottos, crusted fish and non-traditional desserts (like cheesecake pumpkin pie)?

thanks for your recs in advance everyone. (any other reasonably priced vegetarian-friendly thanksgiving restaurant ideas appreciated too of course.)

ps i'm not sure about the link. you may have to navigate the site a little to find the thanksgiving menu link -- i got it off the calendar...
