Thanksgiving at O Bar

After a rather frantic search for a reservation for Thanksgiving, I was able to secure one at O Bar on Santa Monica Blvd. in WeHo.

The Thanksgiving menu was VERY limited, but the space is SO GORGEOUS that it didn't even matter. Granted...it was so dark we couldn't see our food, but I got very into the ambiance. Candles, rough glass everywhere...very chic. BUT, also casual in feel. Service was good, but not fussy.

We started with a Raspberry Mojito (I know...I know...but it was good!) it comes in the shaker, more than enough for two people, which is good since it costs $20. Next we had pumpkin soup and salad as our appetizers. Very tasty all around. Finally, turkey dinner with all the trimmings, possibly the best turkey I've ever had. Moist, flavorful, just right! Dessert was pumpkin cheesecake or Pineapple upsidedown cake. Both were pretty good. I can't wait to go back and try things off the normal menu. I hear tell of a lobster Mac and Cheese that is unbelievable.
