Thai Angel Rocks again (Astoria)

Went back to Thai Angel tonight and had an all-out perfect meal. They're the best in town by miles.

Steamed veggie dumplings were tender and uniquely delicate, with a surprising sweet chili sauce that was very garlicky.

Angel Spice Noodles w/vegetables and Tofu were alive with flavor. Tofu was prepared perfectly, flavorful and great texture.

Scallops w/ Chu Chee Curry were explosive with flavor if not explosively spicy. I haven't had this sauce before and its delicious, tangy, orange, hard to describe exactly. It's not totally unspicy, just not overwhelmingly so. Scallops, like everything else, were bursting with freshness.

Avoided desserts because they disappointed last time.

The place was undercrowded, which is cause for alarm - it thoroughly and completely rocks. Ubol's and Thai Pavillion aren't even in the same universe.

(it's at 34-11 30th Ave. in Astoria - near N train)
