Took the suggestion of the dear departed Butterfly to try this Moroccan dive with dining room upstairs.
Right next to Queen Makeda on 9th St.,NW just below U St. Divey surroundings disguise the fact that handsome platters of tasty food are being served cheaper than you could do it yourself. $4 for vegetarian, $6 for kufta (meatballs), a whopping $7.50 for the house special marinated goat - have yet try this.
You don't have to spend more than that to eat well in Washington! Open very late at nights, too.
