Had tremendous food last week while visiting from Austin. Tartine had the best cinammon rolls I've ever had. Chez Panisse Cafe had a killer nettles & pecorino pizza to start and a welcome and service that all restaurants should be forced to send their staff to take notes. After our 2nd of 4 courses, we half jokingly asked our server if they had any fresh fruit as we've been over loading on carbs and rich food for several days. She brought over 3 clementines in a beautiful wooden bowl (and nothing on the bill at the end of the meal). Great dinner at The House with fantastic pork chop, tuna tartare, and super friendly server and staff. Also loved Blue Bottle Coffee at the market Sat morning - never seen individual drip coffee being made and there was more energy around their tent than anywhere else that morning.
