TAMA Sushi-Just had dinner Report

I just got back from my dining experience in ordering the special way where you trust the chef and I went the suggested route of $50.00 which included 14 pieces, soup, and appetizer. Now, it was delicious yet I could eat more and prefer ordering on my own next time. To start they brought me an appetizer of 5 small unique things, some of which I had no idea of what I was eating yet it was good. Then the soup which was a seafood mushroom soup that you more in a cup as if you were drinking sake so first you enjoy the broth then when finished you pick through the pot to enjoy the shrimp, white fish, and mushroom, very good. Now off to the sushi, I start with some yellow, Toro-fatty tuna, two type of imported fishes directly from Japan I've never had before. Jumbo live scallops from Japan sushi which was amazing, fresh crab sushi, then their signature dish of baby squid sushi which looked like something out of Aliens yet was quite good, and some more dishes too. I ended up ordering two more dishes on my own since I'm a good eater both fresh water eal and scallop hand roll. The couple next to me ordered live shrimp imported from Japan which was brought out live and dissected to sweet shrimp, I want to try that. Overall, it was good just pricey. I left there with a tip $70.00
