Can I just sing the praises of Taco Taco on the Upper East side for a moment? Just got home from a delicious dinner!
Margaritas on the rocks with salt mixed with chili powder.
Roasted corn - buttered, served with chili powder and tinga cheese.
Zuchinni blossoms wrapped in crepes in a poblano sauce with cheese on top.
Baja style fried fish tacos with pico de gallo, lettuce, avocado and a creamy jalapeno sauce and creamy bacon sauce on the side.
Cocount shrimp with a spritz of lime over baby spinach.
Not to mention candle-lit tables, white christmas lights, slow tango music and wonderful service!
Be still my beating heart. I moved from the upper east side a couple of months ago and it hurts my soul to be so far from this gem. Great for Sunday brunch too!
I never would have gone to this place if it wasn't for the Chowhound book! Lucky me and all my friends I have taken there!
