Swiss Country Inn, Gardiner, NY--a report

Had a great visit last night to the Swiss Country Inn on Rte 44/55 in Gardiner. We had goulash, which was simply fantastic--tender, toothsome hunks of beef in a rich, complex sauce with light, airy spaetzle. My dining companions enjoyed Warsteiner on tap--they also have Dinkel Acker and Stella Artois on tap as well as an extensive selection of imported and domestic beers. We also sampled the pork wienerschnitzel--excellent--accompanied by the greatest sweet potato fries I have ever tasted. Not greasy at all, crispy, thinly cut. Dee-licious. Can't say enough about the food here. Sauerkraut and german potato salad--fantastic. For dessert, I had an ice cream sundae with homemade hot fudge. Out of this world.

Has anyone out there been to this place and tried the fondue? I'm curious about it.
