Sushi, Rotisserie Chicken Openings In Woodside

A sushi/Japanese restaurant, Joys Cook, opened in the space formerly occupied by the "mystery Korean place" between 64th St. and 65 St. on the southern side of Roosevelt Ave. A Koko Riko (Colombian?) rotisserie chicken joint has also opened on the same block, further west (can't remember what used to be there.) Both still have their "Grand Opening" banners. I haven't been to either, but thought I'd give a heads-up to those in the neighborhood. Has anyone been? I'll post more detailed info if I get around to trying one or both.

On another admistrative note, the Thai grocery-video rental place that used to be next to Sripraphai (64-13 39th Ave., Woodside) moved one block west to 63-19 39th Ave. a couple months ago. I imagine this may have already been covered. I've been generally happy with their Thai basil, lemongrass, and chile peppers. I still worry about turnover for their other goods.

Happy Eating,
Mumon
