I decided to visit this restaurant after reading a post by a chowhounder. What I found was great food and unpretentious service.
The sole fact that this is a restaurant in the same family as Sushi Kaji speaks volumes. The fish is worth each and every praise. My favorites included uni-ikura bowl and lobster sashimi. The carpaccio of Ma-dai or toro tartare could pull up every workable synonym for delicious.
Although its a little farther away than more popular Toronto sushi spots, the 15 minute drive up the D.V.P was well worth my while. The restaurant has a parking lot and is open until 12a.m. You'll find Kaji-san has thought of everything to ensure a memorable visit.
Definitely the best new opening for a "baby bistro"
By the way, dinner for 2 with T&T included...$130!
