Well, after trying it for about the fourth time in 3 weeks, I've come to the conclusion that it's one of the best value sushi places in nyc.
Avid sushi fan here, current favorites are the Seki omakase and Yasuda, but this place, despite its dimunitive appearance, should definitely be tasted.
Scallop sushi is the best I've had in nyc, followed by on the best yellowtail pieces as well. Other standouts include the Sea Urchin and horse mackerel. The salmon and tuna are average but overall, this place is a complete gem considering how it's practically empty every night. Maybe it's location or size, but this should definitely be a destination for anyone in the midtown/upper west area without a doubt.
