So, I really really love Korean tofu stew, sundubu (soondubu). My favorite is sundubu jjigae, with seafood, and I just had it.
It seems like a healthy dish, but I just ate nearly a pint of it for dinner and was looking for the calorie count and was surprised that two bowls is 900 calories!! Tofu is high in calories but I have to say I was expecting it to be lower. There's not much to the broth- maybe its the sesame oil?
I wondering how much everyone else eats of it when they get it... I find it's always sold in enormous portions that I can handle, but maybe shouldn't!
