sunday night spot

Hi all,

Planning a dinner on a Sunday night to a place I haven't been yet. Some contenders include:

-Sage (which I just realized is NOT open on Sundays)
-Perdix (is this open on Sundays?)
-Caffe Umbra
-Carmen
-Bricco
-Grotto

As you can see from above, I tend to go for Italian, Northern, Southern influences are fine. (I know Perdix is the exception on this list) Though I'd rather a casual, unpretentious experience with just good food cooked passionately. I thought of Davio's but it seems a bit pricey, would rather stay a bit toward the lower end of this scale...I've eaten at Teatro a couple of times and found the food to be excellent....

Any other thoughts/ideas? My original intention was to stay in the North or South Ends, just so we'd have a neighborhood we could sorta hang in, but I am open.

Looking forward to your input...
