We have just 2 days - Sunday and Monday in Paris in October. Looking for a dining plan. A lot of restaurants and bistros seem to be closed on Sundays and Mondays. Our second visit. Last time we visited all the tourist spots and had good lunches but just OK dinners. Now we want to focus on good food and avoid tourist traps. Not megabucks but willing to pay for quality. Staying in St Germain. Can stay somewhere else if this is a really lousy idea for a Sunday. We like walking. I speak schoolgirl French. Arriving early on Sunday after overnight flight from USA. Perhaps we should have a good lunch and a light bite in a wine bar that evening? Recommendations? Bastille market sounds interesting. What do you recommend for Monday?
