Hi all -
What can you recommend for Sunday brunch ? I wanted to do something different from Hominy Grill this time, although I am looking for something in that genre. There will be 6 girls, recovering from the Kiawah half. We don't want froufy dress-up brunch, but we do want something creative and good, not just bacon and eggs.
Either West Ashley or the historic district suit me best from a location perspective.
p.s. I have not made res. for Sat. night because of the logistical problems associated with that many people and a big event earlier in the day. If we decide at the last minute on something like FIG, Basil Thai, Sienna, McCrady's , etc.....what are our chances of actually getting in with no reservation? Is Charleston in December significantly quieter than in the spring/summer?
