Had to grab something for lunch, didn't have much money on me, so I hesitantly decided to try a Subway's sub for the first time in maybe 10 years. Decided to play it safe and opted for ham and swiss with lettuce, tomato and mayo.
Ugh! $5 foot long may be cheap, but not when you factor in throwing half of it out. It wasn't that anything was foul tasting, but it was just unremittingly BLAND. Other than texture, I couldn't distinguish if I was biting through lettuce or cheese or ham. They must have a special process for removing all traces of smoke (even fake smoke) from their "black forest ham." Won't be making this mistake again.
