I am going to be storing my stainless steel flatware and cookware for several years (at least 2), and I cannot seem to find any information on how to go about it. My things will be going into a basement, so I am planning on storing everything in those plastic storage totes, Do you think that I would be okay to just use packing paper next to the stainless steel surfaces and bubble wrap between items for the cookware?
I also have one cast iron. It's barely seasoned, but I cannot imagine storing it in this condition. Any suggestions?
