Ok, I know I should buy them in the shell and shuck them myself, but that's not going to happen. They are available this time of year shucked with the liquor in vacuumed packed containers. Can I freeze these? I would be using them later in the year for stuffings, soups, and a delicious New Orleans oyster pie with scallions, corn, peppers, bacon, put in raw and then baked with a sour cream upper crust. I know I'd lose the texture but in these preparations, that doesn't matter much.
