I've gone through most of the old posts on this place and noticed that nobody has brought up one knock-out dish some friends and I tried last week: the soft shell crab appetizer. Words are not sufficient to describe the transcendence of this dish: Imagine morsels of crab fried to perfection with an exquisite unripe mango dipping sauce. Yum!

FYI, we also tried the much-discussed Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, and it was quite good, though greasy. Has anyone tried the broccoli with salted fish? I'm going to try that this weekend.

Regarding another chowhound oldie but goodie, I agree that the sweet rice with banana is quite a find, but we also enjoyed as much, if not more, the taro pudding and some sort of pudding which came wrapped in a bamboo leaf with a fruit suprise inside which had the same texture as a lychee.
