We had a terrible experience there last night. I know others on this board aren't overly impressed with Spoleto's, but we've had wonderful experiences there in the past.
Last night, however, we had terrible service, the end result of which was that we received the wrong meal - filet mignon instead of tuna. You're going to think I'm an idiot, but I haven't eaten meat in 20 years, and so for several (awful!) bites, didn't realize that it wasn't just non-rare tuna.
The inattentive waiter and the manager (whom we sought out) apologized only perfunctorily and comped nothing (besides the dish itself, which we didn't eat). I'm still upset. For nonmeat-eaters, it was analagous to having a bug in our entree, with barely an apology.
From now on, it's Green Street for us!
