Easter is coming up and ... two people and a ham ... that can be a year long commitment.
So even though I don't USUALLY cook, this is the time of year I make split pea soup.
I know it is early for Easter, but the heirloom bean place in my area is a bit of a drive, so I need to plan a bit early.
So what great recipes do you have for split pea soup ... yellow peas or green peas? Mix?
What about other ham soup recipes. I can get any bean at this place ... ANY bean. They do mail order, so the link is below if anyone is interested. Click on a bean on the web site, it sprouts.
Thanks. As I don't read this board often, if there are any links, I'd appreciate it.
Heavens, I live next door to some roosters. It was charming at first, but that crowing is just starting to grate. It is going on and on as I type this. Any rooster soup recipes (just joking ... sort of).
