I went to Chennai Chef (Kennedy & Steeles) on Saturday for dinner.
I lived in South India for over 6 years and I know dosa. Great food! A good South Indian cook is judged by their Sambar and this restaurant made pretty good sambar.
Also, Ichiban Sushi (I think)is in the same complex. They are Japanese and have fresh fish, sashimi etc. When I went on Sat. evening, they were filleting fresh salmon.
When I have a craving for good sushi (not the Sushi Bloor type places) I will be definitely going there. I live in the west end and it will be a trek to get up to Kennedy & Steeles..........but I love food and distance and sometimes price is usually not an obstacle for me.
