Ooooh, they do have good dim sum. We had a good seafood congee (which is admittedly hard to get wrong) and various steamed dumplings and rolls, baked pork buns (with a sweet glaze that reminded me of Krispy Kremes, making for a fine pork donut) and good fried stuffed taro cakes.
Everything was very fresh-tasting and seemed to be prepped to order so nothing was dried out or watery from sitting in a heated cabinet or steam table.
Nice place, too. Very clean inside including the fishtanks. I'll be sure to check out their non-dim-sum HK stuff if I'm around there in the evening at some point.
One question, though: does anyone find them to have a heavy hand with salt or MSG? I ususally don't mind it when used sparingly, but I do suspect something had quite a bit, maybe the sweet-salty filling in the pork bun.
Also: is there a Chinese bakery in that area? I don't really know Kendall and Sunset..
