Just got back from a trip to Northern Spain, and was most impressed by the variety and quality of their cured meats. Anyone know a local source.

The family I was staying with had a whole cured pig leg in a special holder on the kitchen counter and would shave the ham off as needed. Absolutely fantastic. A shop in barcelona had a whole row of these legs from verying areas of the country and of varying quality - fresh cut to order. Even more fantastic to get a sampling from a few of these to compare.
