A source for an excellent coffee in Brooklyn

After reading a post about good iced coffee at The Victory (sorry, I forget who posted it), I rode my bike over to their location at Hoyt and State Street, and found that they were using the "Dancing Goat" beans from Batdorf & Bronson. This bean makes very good coffee, and it turns out they sell the beans at a very reasonable price.

So I bought a pound, and brought it home to my wife Fortune, who is the coffee fanatic in our family. She ground it in her Mazzer Mini, and made what we both thought was one of the best coffees we have had in this country!

Fortune has already written a long post here about the lack of any good source for fresh, quality beans in all of NYC, after having tried them all. She had taken to ordering all her beans via mail, which becomes rather expensive after shipping. So we are both pleased to find this local source for good quality coffee.
