Snap Crepes in Georgetown - impressed

Flora Rocka | Feb 19, 2006 11:45 AM

I stumbled upon this tiny little creperie in Georgetown the other day, after turning away from the massive lines at La Madeleine. "Snap" is just around the corner, down the block from from B&N.

They had a huge variety of crepes, sweet and non-sweet, with all sorts of innovative flavors (butterscotch, fig spread, red bean paste, thai tuna, etc.). They also have Bubble/Boba teas, which I did not try.

I tried the nutella crepe with bananas, and it was absolutely delish! YOu could taste the absolute freshness of it, and it was just the right texture.

It's a tiny space and seating is *very* scarce (I hope my post won't add to the problem! ;)). It's also very non-frou frou (paper plates, etc.). But it's worth a try, especially when La Madeleine is crowded and the crepe urge strikes.
