Smoke Daddy's BBQ has gone off the deep end

Tir_na_nOg | Oct 16, 2010 02:10 AM

Some crazy @#$% going on in Lansdale Fri and Sat this weekend:

"So... For some reason I seem to have 30 something pounds of homemade bacon in the fridge. What's a poor barbecuist to do? HE, he, he, he, he...

Now, I recollect an episode of Man vs. Food where Adam went to this place that served Mexican hot dogs. They started with bacon wrapped hot dogs and piled on some Mexicany toppings, including a squirt of mayo.

Bacon wrapped hot dog?!?!? I could roll with that. Better be a steak roll...

Imagine a quarter pound, bacon wrapped, smoked hot dog topped with your choice of traditional toppings like onions, relish, mustard...

OR

Same yummy hot dog squirted down with some barbecue sauce, topped with pulled pork, beans and cole slaw. Are you kidding me?

OR

A quarter pound, bacon wrapped, smoked hot dog topped with Daddy's jan-u-wine, ho'made, Texas-style, bowl-o-red chili and some queso blanco?

That's it. I can't take it any more."

~Thought this special deserved it's own thread, since these dogs are here and gone Saturday, but here's the original Smoke Daddy thread (in case you've been living under a rock):
