Went to touted RUB (on 23rd), what a pit of mediocrity; ugly enough to give an opossum hives.

Raw wires; scotch tape dangling, side dishes (slaw and boiled greens) that high school juniors would toss at the ceiling; brown sugar and tomato in squeeze bottles as the barbecue sauce; and fairly greasy "long" ribs. So why do they come ?

If you want smoke that much join smoke jumpers.
