Slip 14 Nantucket

We had our first and last lunch at Slip 14. Our first stop was intentional. We chose a two top facing the harbour. What a lovely spot. I had a crisp white wine and my now to be known dining soul mate DSM had a lovely Absolute Bloody Mary with a shrimp. We decided on jerk pork sliders on homemade brioche for my DSM and I had fish tacos. It was a lovely menu and our adorable waitress guided us well. We loved our food. Everything was fresh and tasty. My Israeli couscous salad was amazing. The fresh fluke in the taco was delicious. Our second lunch was accidental. We meant to go to Straight Wharf but they were closed so we were short on time so meandered back to Slip 14. This time we shared a bowl of chowder, tuna tartar on lavash and shrimp cocktail. We both had bloody Mary's. Everything was great..albeit a tad salty for my tastes but again a lovely presentation and a great server. I love this spot. It's a must do for Nantucket bound foodies...
