biked all over brooklyn yesterday and ended up in this area (borough park / sunset park?) after cutting through prospect park. on bike, we were headed towards sley deli/grocery, a bodega which also happens to produce dozens of flavors of mexican popsicles (creamy or non-creamy) and sources to many of the other mexican bodegas in the city, but this was HQ. we ended up having rice with cream, and almond, but there were so many tropical fruit choices available, in flavors I've never even seen. there were some flavors with chili, like mango chili and pineapple chili, and also plenty of tropical fruit combinations. anyway, worth a trip somehow, but I'm not sure what train you might want to take. It's at 42-17 Fort Hamilton Parkway, which I guess is near 42nd Street.
at $1 each, there's no reason we can't sample all of their flavors by the end of the summer, I'd say.
